Big Creek
 | I kayaked the big creek May 5 at 3ft from Des Arc to Sam A. Baker take out at 143 bridge, it was an 11 mile float and very enjoible for Missouri waters. There were whitewater sections about every 1/4 mile and was all under class II, the rock gardens kept me on my toes but was not difficult at all. I would recomend trying this creek (river) to anyone seeking excitment and is not to experienced to try the St. Francis. Cheers!... |
Lower Rock Creek
 | Been here and there is not a good put-in site for a boat. The creek is one mile from where you can park a car unless it's right next to the St Francis river and that means you won't be kayaking down this creek. Which is impossible unless there is serious rainfall.... |
