This lake is one of the great places here in the Ozarks. Man, is there plenty of entertaining things to do in the Ozarks. A tremendous location to have a look at near Council Bluff Lake is Guyser Hollow, and you can have a glorious hiking adventure along the Berryman Trail. This lake is so wonderful. A glorious spot to camp here at Council Bluff Lake is Hazel Creek Campground, and going for a hike along the       Taum Sauk Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area. This lake is so wonderful. If you get bored of Council Bluff Lake, you could also pop by nearby Gudaitis Lake, and you can take a little spree to Council Bluff Dam since you're here at Council Bluff Lake. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Council Bluff Lake, and during the night it cools down to the 60's. Daytime highs all through the winter are in the 40's, and through the dark hours                  in the wintertime at Council Bluff Lake temperatures descend to the 10's. You're sure to come across some wonderful people from Farmington here. And if that's not enough, there's plenty more to do in the neighborhood of Council Bluff Lake. A lake close by is Palmer Lake, and do take a hike on the Trace Creek Trail. You can run the rapids of Taum Sauk Creek in the neighborhood of Council Bluff Lake, and why not stop by close by Sam Branch since you're here at Council Bluff Lake. So much fun stuff to do here in the Ozarks, too pleasant to be true. Council Bluff Lake is glorious enough to spend more than a day at, Wild Boar Ridge Campground is a glorious local campground, and there's whitewater on Black River - East Fork for all you adrenaline people.
