A picturesque lake like Hunnewell Lake in the vicinity of Clapper Lake is a magnificent place to check out, and Clapper Lake is wonderful enough to spend more than a day at, The Landing is a wonderful local campground. A normal amount of precipitation falls here at Clapper Lake; the month with most of the rain is May; the       driest month of the year is February. For the period of the summertime highs here at Clapper Lake get into the 80's. All through the moonlight hours it's usually in the 60's. During the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's; after the sun is down throughout the wintertime temperatures at Clapper Lake sink into the 10's.
