    If you like lakes and you're in this part of Missouri you can check out City Park Lake. City Park Lake is located in the Ozarks. City Park Lake Dam has splendid water scenery and it's right next door to City Park Lake, and Von Hoffman Lake is a nearby lake that you could have a look at. You'll need more than a day to explore everything City Park Lake has to offer, you can camp at Kansas City East KOA, and whitewater paddling is delightful on Meramec River.

If you like the outdoors, you'll have a thing about City Park Lake. The beauty of mother nature reveals herself at Cress Spring, and since you're here, you could also stop by pretty Ramstein Lake. At City Park Lake during the summertime months highs are in the 80's. Through the moonlight hours it's ordinarily in the 60's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 40's; after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at City Park Lake fall into the 10's. So much

             entertaining stuff to do in the Ozarks, not enough time. The summit of Mineral Hill can be seen from City Park Lake, and a wonderful place to pop by is Bowman Hollow.
An average amount of rainfall falls at City Park Lake; May is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest month is January. This lake is so wonderful. There's good hiking along the Berryman Trail. This lake is so wonderful. A brilliant close by hotel is Sullivan Super 8 Motel, and a round of golf at nearby Sullivan Country Club is a delightful way to kill some time.
There's no way anybody can get bored here in the Ozarks. There's so much to do here at City Park Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Sullivan/Meramec Adventure Campground is a nice place for that; if you need a site to stay Comfort Inn Sullivan is a great choice.

Tea Lakes is a 210 acre conservation area located 6 1/2 miles south of Rosebud, Mo. on Highway T. You may visit the area during the day and talk to David Jordan the area caretaker. There are 5 fishing lakes, primitive campsites, playground, MO. Native/Plants of Merit garden recognized by the Missouri Botanical Gardens in St. Louis, Mo., boy and girl scout camping areas, shelters for picnics and gatherings. There are several hiking trails, however, we are in the process of remapping these trails and some will not be usable for the summer. This is a small organization and a small membership fee is required in order to use the facilities after the initial trial/camp/visit. We welcome anyone who is conservation minded, wants a place to visit away from the hustle and bustle of the city and just enjoys the great outdoors.
