Good hiking is available along the John J Audubon Trail; there's some interesting stuff to catch a sight of at Fredericktown City Dam next to City Lake. This lake is so wonderful. This is a perfect vicinity for folks who like lakes. Mine La Motte Lake is a lake in close proximity. So much amusing stuff to do at City Lake, so little time. Turkey Creek is a fine whitewater spot near City Lake, and dry warm beds await you at Days Inn Farmington. These mountains

| | rock, just explore all the cool stuff to do in the Ozarks. Lakes are great; Mine Lamotte Lake is a lake that's close to City Lake, and a quick tour to Mill Creek is definitely a great idea. You can run the rapids of Little St. Francis River close to City Lake; an afternoon playing golf at Madison County Country Club is always a diversion. This lake is so wonderful. to spend more than a day at, St Joe State Park is a splendid local campground. Summer brings highs in the 80's to City Lake. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 60's. The cold days of the wintertime
come with highs in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at City Lake. City Lake is located in the Ozarks. The amount of rain that falls at City Lake is close to the national average; of all the months in a year March is the one with the most rain, and January meanwhile is the driest month.
