The Ozarks scenery is always beautiful. You feel that's enough? Just getting warmed up. This lake is so wonderful. On a great day at Church Pond you can take a hike along the Blue Ridge Trail; Church Pond is pleasant enough to spend more than a day at, Eminence Canoes - cottages - & Campground is a pleasant local campground. You don't should go far from Church Pond to enjoy Rocky Creek State       Forest, and Despain Hollow is in the neighborhood, and is a fine location. Church Pond mostly gets a great deal of rainfall; the month with most of the rain is May while January is ordinarily the driest month. For the duration of the summertime months highs here at Church Pond get into the 80's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 60's. Highs through the winter are frequently in the 40's, and night lows during the winter for Church Pond tend to be in                  the 20's. Be careful coming to the Ozarks, you might not ever want to go home again.
