If you came to camp Bayview Camper's Park is a glorious location to do that, and a great close by hotel is Quality Inn & Suites. This lake is so wonderful.       For you golfers we recommend nearby Norwoods Golf Club, and you're sure to come across some friendly people from Hannibal here. Charles Ransdell Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Injun Joe Campground is a great local campground; whitewater paddling is pleasant on Fall Creek. Through the days of summer highs here at Charles Ransdell Lake get into the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 60's. Highs during the wintertime                  are usually in the 30's with temperatures at Charles Ransdell Lake dipping down into the 10's during winter nights.
