Cates Pond is a wet place that gets a large amount of precipitation; all through the month of May you get the most rain around here; January is the month with the least moisture. This lake is located in the wonderful Ozarks. Rough Hollow is a great place to explore; a picturesque lake like Blue Hole is a perfect site to explore.
But wait, there's

more cool things to do in the Ozarks. A short tour to Sisco Spring is always worthwhile; you'll discover a stunning lake called McCormack Lake. You believe that's sufficient? Just getting warmed up.

Woody's Canoe Rental and Campground
17 miles away
Woody past away in 2007.? The canoe rental and campground is closed.? This place will be missed....My family and I went to Woody's Canoe Rental and Campground a couple of weeks ago and had a wonderful weekend camping and canoeing. They have water and electricity at all camp sites. They have new canoes and kayaks and a small store on site. The river is beautiful and cold. Woody told me there are a 100 springs that feed into this river. I would highly recommend this campground....
