     Through the days of summer at Carvers Lake highs are typically in the 90's. During the moonlight hours it's commonly in the 60's. High temperatures all through the winter are normally in the 40's; all through the dark hours in the wintertime at Carvers Lake temperatures descend to the 10's. This lake is one of the great places here in the Ozarks. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors fun things the Ozarks has to offer. Carvers Lake is a perfect spot  
   to visit for more than one day, Stanton/Meramec KOA is a perfect spot to camp nearby, and the scenery at Carvers Lake Dam is pretty.
This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are such calm locations, why not visit Trutsch Lakes close to Carvers Lake, and dry warm beds await you at Super 8 St. Clair MO. A picturesque lake like Trutsch Lake in the vicinity of Carvers Lake is a good place to take a look at, and after a long day outdoors Budget Lodging is a tremendous
 
               location to spend a night or two. Carvers Lake is a good site of normal precipitation; through May this area sees the most rain, and the driest month is January.
You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors amusing things the area close to Carvers Lake has to offer. Meramec Caverns is a perfect local campground, and whitewater paddling is brilliant on Meramec River.
