All the water falling down from the sky makes Camp Nine Pond a wet location; March is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month is January. Camping is available at Buffalo Creek Campground, and the views at Ozark National Scenic River will blow your mind. This lake is so wonderful. Dry Prong flows       through this vicinity, and a great place is Larimore Hollow. After a long day outdoors Doniphan - Days Inn is a great spot to spend a night or two, and do have a look at Taylor Lake Dam while you're here. For the period of the warm months highs here at Camp Nine Pond get into the 90's. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 60's. Throughout the wintertime this place gets highs in the 40's while Camp Nine Pond overnight                  low temperatures during the winter are in the 10's. This lake is one of the great places here in the Ozarks. That right there is a lot of amusing stuff already but it goes on, the Ozarks has it all.
