This lake is so wonderful. You're probably addicted to lakes, McCullough South Dam is one of those close by, and if you come at the right time of year, Bear Creek offers some nice whitewater. Summertime highs at Bruns Lake usually tend to be in the 80's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 60's. The wintertime brings highs down to       the 30's, and nighttime lows during the winter for Bruns Lake tend to be in the 10's. Camping is available at Hickory Haven Campground. Lakes are glorious; Lloyd Lake North is a lake that's in the neighborhood of Bruns Lake. And that's not all you can do here at Bruns Lake. Why not camp at Camp Hickory Haven since you're here at Bruns Lake, and after a long day outdoors Days Inn Quincy is a tremendous site to spend a night or two. Bruns Lake gets a normal                  amount of annual rain; July is the month that gets the most rain, and February is the month with the least moisture.
