Many people like to go to Brandel Lake. And if that's not enough there's a load more enjoyable things to do in the Ozarks. Sullivan Super 8 Motel is a magnificent location to get some rest, and on a splendid day you can take a hike along the Berryman Trail. Brandel Lake gets a typical amount of annual rainfall; May is the wettest month with most rain while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation. | | Lake, high temperatures generally get into the 80's while overnight lows are regularly in the 60's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 40's with temperatures at Brandel Lake dipping down into the 10's throughout winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. Comfort Inn Sullivan is a perfect choice, and camping is available at Bass River Resort. This lake is located in the wonderful Ozarks. Looking for some flowing water? Try Bessen River, and Meramec River has a great whitewater
paddling spot close by. Now, you may imagine that's loads but there's even more entertaining stuff to do here in the Ozarks. Camping at Blue Springs Ranch Campground is always a wonderful experience; you're probably hooked on lakes, Fred Weber Lake is one of those close by.

 | 19 miles away Tea Lakes is a 210 acre conservation area located 6 1/2 miles south of Rosebud, Mo. on Highway T. You may visit the area during the day and talk to David Jordan the area caretaker. There are 5 fishing lakes, primitive campsites, playground, MO. Native/Plants of Merit garden recognized by the Missouri Botanical Gardens in St. Louis, Mo., boy and girl scout camping areas, shelters for picnics and gatherings. There are several hiking trails, however, we are in the process of remapping these trails and some will not be usable for the summer. This is a small organization and a small membership fee is required in order to use the facilities after the initial trial/camp/visit. We welcome anyone who is conservation minded, wants a place to visit away from the hustle and bustle of the city and just enjoys the great outdoors.
