Brandel Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Blue Springs Ranch Campground is a great local campground; why not take a refreshing hike along the Berryman Trail. There's whitewater on Meramec River for all you adrenaline people, and since you're here why not explore Opossum Hollow. This lake is so wonderful. | | River is without doubt a great idea. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Ozarks. Brandel Lake is not the only spot close by, Baumstark Lake is a close by lake, and dry warm beds await you at Econo Lodge Sullivan. During the long summer days here at Brandel Lake, high temperatures usually get into the 80's while night lows are typically in the 60's. Inn Sullivan is a great location to get some rest. Brandel Lake gets a common amount of annual precipitation; throughout May this area sees the most rain; January on the other hand is the driest.

Tea Lakes
 | 19 miles away Tea Lakes is a 210 acre conservation area located 6 1/2 miles south of Rosebud, Mo. on Highway T. You may visit the area during the day and talk to David Jordan the area caretaker. There are 5 fishing lakes, primitive campsites, playground, MO. Native/Plants of Merit garden recognized by the Missouri Botanical Gardens in St. Louis, Mo., boy and girl scout camping areas, shelters for picnics and gatherings. There are several hiking trails, however, we are in the process of remapping these trails and some will not be usable for the summer. This is a small organization and a small membership fee is required in order to use the facilities after the initial trial/camp/visit. We welcome anyone who is conservation minded, wants a place to visit away from the hustle and bustle of the city and just enjoys the great outdoors.
