The Ozarks scenery is always beautiful. Having a pleasant time at Blue Pond is simple. If you came for an overnight stay Whippoorwill Lake is a delightful place to camp, obviously you could also check out Factory Pond since you're here; it's not far at all. Be careful coming to the Ozarks, you might not ever want to return home again.
This lake is so wonderful. Some delightful nature is available in Castor River State Forest, and going for a hike on the

Boardwalk Nature Trail is always a wonderful adventure. Why not camp at Barks Plantation while you're here at Blue Pond; why not a little side journey to Cypress Slough. Blue Pond generally gets a large amount of precipitation; through May this area sees the most rain while January is frequently the driest month.
Don't leave Blue Pond without first going for a hike along the Pine Ridge Nature Trail, and Americas Best Value Inn-Dexter is a great location to get
