What a nice lake Big Lake is. Holiday Inn POPLAR BLUFF is a good site to get some rest, and if you came for an overnight stay Camelot RV Campground is a fine place to camp. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a site to stay SUPER 8 MOTEL - POPLAR BLUFF is a pleasant choice. There's great hiking along the Pine Ridge Nature Trail, and Bullwinkle's Rustic Lodge and RV Park is a delightful campground nearby.

| | keep you coming back persistently. The Lost Creek Nature Trail offers hiking at its best, and if you get bored of Big Lake you could also check out nearby Wren Lake. Big Lake is a beautiful lake in the Ozarks. High temperatures at Big Lake throughout the summertime months are in the 90's. Summer night lows sink down to the 60's. High temperatures through the winter are normally in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Big Lake are in the 10's.

too short to enjoy all the enjoyable things right next door to Big Lake. There's always Tamaro Oaks Dam to take a look at close to Big Lake; Big Lake is not the only location close by, Lake Lockloma is a close by lake. This lake is
so wonderful. Paddling on Black River is so much fun, and lots of people from Poplar Bluff come here. The high level of precipitation makes Big Lake a relatively wet location; March is when you get the most rain here while January
is typically the driest month.
Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Ozarks. Big Lake is right by the Johnson Natural Area Backpack Trail; swing by Buck Creek it's a brilliant place to pop by.
