It's always fun to stop by Bevill Lake. From a rainfall point of view Bevill Lake is a pretty normal site; the month with most of the rain is July, and February is when it's the driest. Just can't get enough of Bevill Lake. Hawkins Branch is a wonderful stream that is worth a visit, and paddling on North River is so much fun. Lots of people from Hannibal come to Bevill Lake, and you'll find a lovely lake called Doctor J W Well Lake. If you need a location

| | to stay Bel Air Motel is a perfect choice, and nearby you come across the Lick Creek Trail which is a good hiking trail. Bevill Lake is nice enough to spend more than a day at, The Landing is a nice local campground, and the scenery at Dickson Lake Dam is beautiful. This lake is so wonderful. Salt River Inn is a brilliant location to get some rest, and there is a wonderful hiking trail close by called the Hickory Bluff Trail. The warmest time of the year | |

at Bevill Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 80's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 60's. For the period of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Bevill Lake are in the 10's.
