A visit to Bear Creek Reservoir is always a good idea. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Quality Inn & Suites, and whitewater paddling is splendid on Fall Creek. A common amount of precipitation falls here at Bear Creek Reservoir; most of the rain falls through July, and February is when it's the driest. Any time is a fine time at Bear Creek Reservoir if you go for the outdoors. Not far from Bear Creek Reservoir you obtain some good water scenery

Crooked Creek is a stream that you may bump into while here; if you came for an overnight stay Injun Joe Campground is a brilliant site to camp. Camping is available at Bayview Camper's Park, and Bear Creek Reservoir is right by the Hickory Bluff Trail. Lakes? Sure, Charles Ransdell Lake is around here, and nearby Rickey Hollow is a splendid site to go.

Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop at nearby McKay Lake; get soaked paddling on North River. After a long day outdoors Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Hannibal, Missouri is a nice spot to spend a night
or two. For the period of the warm days of summer, highs usually are in the 80's at Bear Creek Reservoir, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's, and overnight
lows at Bear Creek Reservoir during the winter regularly fall into the 10's.
Hiking along the Lick Creek Trail is brilliant fun; a golf course nearby is American Legion Golf Course.
