For the duration of the long summer days at Baxter Lake highs are generally in the 80's while nighttime lows are usually in the 60's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's while the cold winter nights at Baxter Lake are in the 10's. From a rain point of view Baxter       Lake is a rather common spot; July is when you get the most rain here while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Baxter Lake has to offer, you can camp at Camp Hickory Haven, and if you're interested in hydro structures, you can visit Baxter Lake Dam. And that's not all you can do here at Baxter Lake. Dry warm beds await you at Comfort Inn Canton, and float down the rapids of Cedar                  Creek in a kayak. This lake is so wonderful.
