The warmest time of the year at Baumstark Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 80's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 60's. During the winter this place gets highs in the 40's with temperatures at Baumstark Lake dipping down into the 10's through winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. Baumstark Lake is a great place to camp, Garrisons River Resort is a great place, and       Fort Hill is a peak you can see from Baumstark Lake. So many amusing things to do in the Ozarks, not enough time. Camping at Baumstark Lake is good fun, Harmon Spring Campground is a good local campground; as expected, A journey to The Narrows is always fun. The yearly rainfall here at Baumstark Lake is about average; the wettest month of the year is ordinarily May, that's the one that rains the most, and January meanwhile is the driest month. If you're                  here at Baumstark Lake, you could explore Bass Branch, and after a long day outdoors Sullivan Super 8 Motel is a wonderful place to spend a night or two. This is no place for people who don’t like to have fun. A fine site for whitewater paddling near Baumstark Lake is Meramec River; Comfort Inn Sullivan is a glorious place to get some rest. Baumstark Lake is located in the Ozarks. Very great water scenery is available at Baumstark Lake Dam next to Baumstark Lake, and if you're here you can take a hike along the Berryman Trail. There's no way somebody can get bored here in the Ozarks.
