During the summertime months, highs usually are in the 80's at Baumgartner Lake. During the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 60's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's; nighttime lows in the 10's for Baumgartner Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Country Hearth Inn Fulton is       a wonderful place to get some rest, and if you've had enough of Baumgartner Lake, Lochwinnoch Reservoir is nearby. Baumgartner Lake gets a typical amount of yearly rainfall; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain, and January is the month with the least moisture. What a spot this is for outdoors folks. In case you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Hinkson Creek, and hiking is a popular thing                  to do around Baumgartner Lake; Cedar Creek Hiking Trail is a great local trail. After a long day outdoors Super 8 Columbia East is a perfect place to spend a night or two; Baumgartner Dam is a pretty spot.
