There's so much to do here at Ashland Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Binder Park is a great place for that. Summertime at Ashland Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 80's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 60's. High temperatures through the winter are normally in the 30's; winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Ashland Lake. This lake       is so wonderful. Lakes are such peaceful sites, why not visit Peterson Lake near Ashland Lake, and you can go for a hike on the Cedar Creek Hiking Trail. Ashland Lake gets a common amount of yearly rain; throughout the month of May you get the most rain around here, and January is when it's the driest. A magnificent close by hotel is Americas Best Value Inn-Holts Summit/Jeff City, and Ashland Lake is wonderful enough to spend more than a day at, Pine Grove                  Village MHP is a wonderful local campground. Big Branch is one of the streams nearby that might be worth checking out, and Laboratory Dam is a site that is in close proximity to Ashland Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Playing golf is lots of fun at Eagle Knoll Golf Club, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Hinkson Creek. All the outdoors enjoyable things next to Ashland Lake will keep you coming back persistently.
