     Amos Lake is always a pleasure to visit. Just can't get enough of the Ozarks. Hiking along the Blossom Rock Trail is wonderful fun, and Blue Moon RV Park and Horse Motel is a great local campground. This lake is located in the wonderful Ozarks. From a rain point of view Amos Lake is a pretty normal place; the month with most of the rain is May, and January meanwhile is the driest month.
This lake is so wonderful. Little Prairie Lake is a magnificent lake close
 
   to Amos Lake, and there are plenty of people from Rolla here. Amos Lake Dam has good water scenery and it's in the vicinity of Amos Lake, and if you need a place to stay Drury Inn Rolla is a great choice. Have a brilliant hiking adventure along the Kaintuck Trail; dry warm beds await you at Days Inn And Suites St James.
Yep, outdoors entertaining stuff to do are in fact bountiful here at Amos Lake. Take a hike on the Cedar Bluff Trail, and why not camp at Camp
 
               Brim Shire since you're here at Amos Lake. During the summertime months at Amos Lake temperatures are ordinarily in the 80's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 60's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Amos Lake. And if that's not enough there's a lot more exciting stuff to do in the Ozarks. ...n. From the top, you will not know that you are on a bridge. From the bottom it looks like a large, deep cave through which light doesn't travel because of a bend in the tunnel. Follow the trail around the hill and you will find the other opening. Next time I will bring a flashlight so that I can explore a little.

The trails are popular with horseback riders and are as wide as sidewalks most of the time. In most places and the footing is good. A small percentage of the trail is made up of loose rock that can be bad for a weak ankle.

My only complaint is that the map I have is not accurate and the markers on the trees don't lend much confidence. Today I wound up walking an extra two hours because of a wrong turn. Looking at the Internet maps, I still can't find the path I was walking or the fenced meadows. In one spot the trail went through a chained gate. I didn't know if I would be trespassing so I turned right, followed a path around the field and found myself on some dirt road that is not marked. Maybe the next time the park service is out clearing fallen ...
