This lake is so wonderful. Allen Pond is good enough to spend more than a day at, Harvey's Circle B Campground is a good local campground, and Kemper Hollow is a perfect place to spend some time. What a place this is for outdoors people. You're probably keen on lakes, Church Pond is one of those nearby, and       a spree to Ozark National Scenic River is recommended. And that's not all you can do here in the Ozarks. This is a tremendous region for folks who like lakes. Lewis Lake is a lake close by, and there's great hiking along the Blue Ridge Trail. The Ozarks scenery is always beautiful. Allen Pond is a wet spot that gets a great deal of rain; of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain; the driest month of the year is January. Summer at Allen                  Pond comes with high temperatures in the 80's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 60's.
