It's always fun to stop by Zoo Lake. This lake is so wonderful. You're almost certainly hooked on lakes, Echo Lake is one of those nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Good hiking is available along the North Shore State Trail; if you've had enough of Zoo Lake, Fishhook Lake is nearby. Lutsen has wonderful slopes and a friendly staff, and drift down the rapids of Cascade River in a kayak.
Summertime at Zoo Lake comes with high temperatures in the 70's. When the

| | night sets in temperatures drop down into the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 10's while Zoo Lake nighttime low temperatures all through the winter are in the-10's. The view of Eagle Mountain from Zoo Lake is lovely; if you came to camp Devil Lake Campground is a nice site to do that. The South Lake Portage offers hiking at its best, and Caribou Highlands Lodge is a fine location to get some rest.

just come on down to Zoo Lake. After a long day outdoors Super 8 Motel - Grand Marais is a wonderful location to spend a night or two; hey, North Branch Cascade River is a delightful local stream. From a rainfall point of view Zoo
Lake is a quite common spot; the month with most of the rain is August, and the driest month is February. There's great hiking along the Height of Land Portage. There's so much to do here at Zoo Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Cascade River Campground is a perfect location for that.
