There's so much to do here at Zimmerman Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Remer Motel & Campground is a splendid spot for that. Zimmerman Lake is fine enough to spend more than a day at, Andersen's Four Seasons Resort is a fine local campground; you'll come across a charming lake called Chain O' Lakes. What a location this is for outdoors people. Going for a hike along the Sugar       Lake Trail System will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region, and lots of people from Brainerd come here. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Zimmerman Lake you can take a hike along the Mud Lake Trail System; a pretty lake like Upper Milton Lake is a wonderful place to go to. Zimmerman Lake gets a common amount of annual precipitation; through June this area sees the most rain; the driest month is February. Through the summertime, highs                  usually are in the 80's at Zimmerman Lake. Summer overnight lows descend down to the 50's.
