Apple River offers some good whitewater. Throughout the summer months, highs commonly are in the 80's at Wyckstrom Lake. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's regularly in the 60's. During the winter the highs are generally
in the 20's with temperatures at Wyckstrom Lake dipping down into the 0's through winter nights.
