Nearby lakes? Sure, Waffle Lake is near Wringer Lake, and whitewater paddling is good on Cross River. A delightful close by hotel is Americinn - Tofte, Mn. There's so much to do here at Wringer Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Temperance River Campground is a great site for that. From a precipitation point of view Wringer Lake is a pretty normal site; June is when you get the most rain here while February       is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Wringer Lake you can take a hike along the Honeymoon Trail, and Wringer Lake is splendid enough to spend more than a day at, Lamb's Campground and Resort is a splendid local campground. You could also go to Pancake Lake since you're here at Wringer Lake; it's nearby; hey, Gotta ski right? Lutsen is a magnificent place to do that. All the outdoors cool things                  close to Wringer Lake will keep you coming back persistently. Caribou Highlands Lodge is a brilliant location to get some rest; Temperance River has a fine whitewater paddling spot close by. Summertime highs at Wringer Lake commonly tend to be in the 70's with overnight lows in the 50's.
