Woodpile Lake is a good site of common rain; the wettest month of the year is frequently June, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest month of the year is February. This lake is so wonderful. There's whitewater on Vermilion River for all you adrenaline people, and needless to say,       all our national parks are nice places to stop at and Mississippi National River & Recreation Area is no exception. Through the summer months, highs regularly are in the 80's at Woodpile Lake, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. For the duration of the wintertime highs are frequently in the 10's with winter lows in the-10's overnight here at Woodpile Lake. This lake is so wonderful. You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at                  Afton Alps since you're here; an afternoon playing golf at Indian Hills Golf Club is always a pleasure. Dry warm beds await you at Americinn - Stillwater, Mn, and there are other sites here than Woodpile Lake, for example Sunnybrook Lake. Not far from Woodpile Lake, you'll stumble on Lake Masterman which is a beautiful lake. There's so much to do here at Woodpile Lake that you need to camp here for a while, St Paul East KOA is a brilliant place for that. Life's too short to enjoy all the cool stuff near Woodpile Lake.
