Try Gaunt Creek; after a long day outdoors Elbow Lake Lodge is a tremendous place to spend a night or two. Summer brings highs in the 70's to Wolfpack Lake. During the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 40's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 10's, and winter nights come with lows in the-20's to Wolfpack Lake. This lake is so       wonderful. On a magnificent day at Wolfpack Lake you can take a hike along the Echo Trail, and a fine place for whitewater paddling is Vermilion River. Wolfpack Lake is a good spot of typical rain; the month with most of the rain is June, and February meanwhile is the driest month. Any time is a tremendous time at Wolfpack Lake if you have a thing about the outdoors. The Canfield Portage is a perfect hiking trail close to Wolfpack Lake. While you're here at                  Wolfpack Lake you can take a hike along the Beatty Portage, and a fine site to camp here at Wolfpack Lake is Lake Jeanette Campground.
