This lake is so wonderful. Giants Ridge has good slopes and a friendly staff, and on a pleasant day you can take a hike along the Echo Trail. Get your heart beating on the brilliant whitewater of Stony River, and while you're here you can take a hike along the Stuart Portage. Camping is available at Silver Rapids Lodge Restaurant, and dry warm beds await you at Grand Ely Lodge Resort And Conf Ctr. Hoist Bay is not far       from Wolf Lake at all; if you came for an overnight stay Camp Du Nord is a good location to camp. Wolf Lake truly is in the middle of a beautiful outdoors paradise. If you need a location to stay Budget Host Motel Ely is a pleasant choice, and a lake close by is Deadman Lake. At Wolf Lake through the summer months highs are in the 70's, and all through summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. For the duration of the wintertime highs are ordinarily in the                  10's, and overnight lows at Wolf Lake all through the wintertime usually fall into the-20's.
