Not far from Williams Lake you get some nice water scenery at Welch Lake Dam, and if the weather is splendid, you can go for a hike along the Elmwood Island Trail System. The annual rain here at Williams Lake is about average; the month of June is the wettest with most of the rain; the driest of the months is February. This lake is so wonderful. A magnificent location to camp here at Williams Lake is West Seelye Campground,       and the Cutfoot Sioux National Recreation Trail is a good hiking trail nearby. If you need a place to stay Americinn - Blackduck, Mn is a great choice. The warmest time of the year at Williams Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 70's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 50's. High temperatures through the wintertime are normally in the 10's; night lows at Williams Lake during the winter usually drop into the-10's.
