Not far from Wild Rice Lake, you'll locate Big Lake which is a lovely lake; camping at Big Lake Resort is always a perfect experience. A great close by hotel is Americinn - Cloquet, Mn, and if you come at the right time of year, St. Louis River offers some good whitewater. Any time is a good time at Wild Rice Lake if you love the outdoors.
