The Minnesota-Wisconsin Boundary State Trail is a brilliant hiking trail near Wilbur Lake, and get soaked paddling on Lower Tamarack River. A nice spot to camp here at Wilbur Lake is Old Logging Trail Campground; after a long day outdoors Lodge at Crooked Lake is a great location to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. Get yourself into a kayak and hit St. Croix River, and       lakes are such serene spots, why not have a look at Lake Olive. At Wilbur Lake throughout the months of summer highs are in the 80's while overnight lows are generally in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 10's while the cold winter nights at Wilbur Lake are in the-10's. From a rain point of view Wilbur Lake is a pretty normal place; the month of June is the wettest with most of the rain, and February on the other hand is the driest. Not sufficient                  hours in a day to enjoy this location. Dry warm beds await you at Best Western Northwoods Lodge.
