On a glorious day at Wilbur Lake you can take a hike along the Powwoun Trail, and Grand Superior Lodge is a splendid site to get some rest. High temperatures at Wilbur Lake throughout the warm days of summer are in the 70's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 50's. Highs during the wintertime are mostly in the 10's while Wilbur Lake nighttime low temperatures through the wintertime       are in the-10's. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at McDougal Lakes Campground is always a great experience, and going for a hike along the North Shore Snowmobile Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area. Whitewater paddling is pleasant on Beaver River - W.Br; if you're here you can take a hike along the Moosewalk Snowmobile Trail. The amount of precipitation that falls at Wilbur Lake is close to the national average; of all the months in a year                  June is the one with the most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Now, you may believe that's plenty but there's even more amusing stuff to do here at Wilbur Lake. In the event that you don't mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Baptism River - West Br.
