If you want a glorious time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Widow Lake. Here at Widow Lake there are plenty of folks from Brainerd; if you need a spot to stay Trappers Landing Lodge is a good choice. Have a great hiking adventure along the Lake Erin Trail. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here       at Widow Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Austin's Swamp is a great site for that, and Widow Lake is right by the Goose Lake Trail System. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Widow Lake has to offer, you can camp at Deer Acres; a lake close by is I X L Lake. While you're here at Widow Lake you must stop by Bungey Bay; hiking along the North Country Trail is glorious fun. At Widow Lake throughout the days of summer highs are in                  the 70's while nighttime lows are generally in the 50's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 10's with winter lows in the-10's overnight here at Widow Lake.
