    If you like lakes and you're in this part of Minnesota you can check out White Pine Lake. This lake is so wonderful. There is a great hiking trail right next door to White Pine Lake called the North Shore State Trail; after a long day outdoors Caribou Highlands Lodge is a splendid place to spend a night or two. Throughout the summer months, highs typically are in the 70's at White Pine Lake while night lows are generally in the 50's. The winter comes with highs  
   in the 10's, and overnight lows during the wintertime for White Pine Lake tend to be in the-10's. The amount of rain that falls at White Pine Lake is close to the national average; August is the month that gets the most rain; February is the month with the least moisture.
While you're here at White Pine Lake you can take a hike along the Honeymoon Trail, and great skiing awaits you at Lutsen. A striking lake like Strobus Lake near White Pine Lake is a perfect
 
               spot to explore, and White Pine Lake is brilliant enough to spend more than a day at, Crescent Lake Campground is a brilliant local campground. Poplar River is a great whitewater spot near White Pine Lake, and if you came to camp Poplar River Campground is a delightful site to do that.
On a tremendous day at White Pine Lake you can take a hike along the Rib Lake Trail, and do stop by Pengar Lake, it's a lovely lake. This lake is so wonderful. Be careful coming to White Pine Lake, you might not ever wanna go home again. In the event that you don’t have a problem getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Temperance River, and dry warm beds await you at Americinn - Tofte, Mn.
