     A pleasant location to camp here at White Pine Lake is Crescent Lake Campground, and if you need a place to stay Caribou Highlands Lodge is a perfect choice. A normal amount of precipitation falls here at White Pine Lake; August is the month that gets the most rain while February is mostly the driest month. There are some pleasant whitewater spots on Temperance River; White Pine Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Poplar River Campground is  
   a great local campground. This lake is so wonderful. If the weather is splendid here at White Pine Lake, you can go for a hike along the North Shore State Trail, and you're almost certainly interested in lakes, Pengar Lake is one of those nearby.
This lake is so wonderful. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Poplar River; you can hit the slopes at Lutsen in the neighborhood. All the outdoors cool stuff close to White Pine Lake will keep you coming back over
 
               and over. Dry warm beds await you at Eagle Ridge Resort at Lutsen Mountains; you can have a magnificent hiking adventure along the Honeymoon Trail.
Summertime brings highs in the 70's to White Pine Lake. Summer nighttime lows dip down to the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 10's while White Pine Lake night low temperatures through the wintertime are in the-10's. Going for a hike along the Rib Lake Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region; if you've had enough of White Pine Lake, Strobus Lake is close by.
