White Iron Lake gets a common amount of precipitation; June is the month that gets the most rain while February is regularly the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. For you golfers we recommend nearby Ely Golf Club, unsurprisingly you could also pop by Burgo Lake while you're here; it's not far at all. Summertime brings highs in the 70's       to White Iron Lake. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 10's with temperatures at White Iron Lake dipping down into the-10's through winter nights. Not sufficient hours in a day to enjoy this spot. After a long day outdoors Budget Host Motel Ely is a brilliant place to spend a night or two; Birch Lake Campground is a delightful campground nearby. Getting to Bear Island River from White Iron                  Lake is easy, and if the weather is pleasant, you can go for a hike along the Kelly Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Get your heart pumping on the perfect whitewater of Stony River, and Super 8 Ely Minnesota is a magnificent spot to get some rest.
