A perfect close by hotel is Croixwood, and if you're dropping by from Minneapolis-St. Paul-Bloomington, you won't be the only one. to camp here for a while, St Paul East KOA is a pleasant place for that. This lake is so wonderful. A round of golf at nearby Manitou Ridge Golf Course is a magnificent way to kill some time; whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Vermilion River. This lake is so wonderful.
