This lake is so wonderful. Mississippi National River & Recreation Area is a very good spot to stop at in the vicinity of White Bear Lake, and whitewater paddling is pleasant on Vermilion River. Afton Alps is a nice local ski area; you can stay the night at St Paul East KOA. Everybody nearby loves skiing at Buck Hill. This is no place for people who don’t like to enjoy themselves. Northernaire Motel is a delightful       campground here; if you need a place to stay Best Western White Bear Country Inn is a tremendous choice. For the duration of the summertime highs here at White Bear Lake reach the 80's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 50's. All through the wintertime highs are typically in the 10's, and nighttime lows in the-10's for White Bear Lake.
