From a rainfall point of view Whist Lake is a relatively typical place; of all the months in a year June is the one with the most rain; the driest month is February. If the weather is great here at Whist Lake, you can go for a hike along the Powwoun Trail, and obviously, this is a wonderful vicinity for people who like lakes, Wisini Lake is a lake in the vicinity. This lake is so wonderful. A fine       close by hotel is Americinn - Tofte, Mn, and Kawishiwi Lake Campground is a nice campground nearby. Have a good hiking adventure along the Kekekabic Trail. During the summer at Whist Lake temperatures are usually in the 70's. Through the moonlight hours it's generally in the 50's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 10's; after the sun is down all through the wintertime temperatures at Whist Lake descend into the-10's. While you're here at Whist                  Lake you can take a hike along the Old Pines Trail.
