There's so much to do here at Whisker Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Gateway-hungry Jack Lodge is a perfect place for that, and if you come at the right time of year, Cascade River offers some splendid whitewater. This lake is so wonderful. If you get bored of Whisker Lake, you could also check out close by Saucer Lake, and there

I missed one year of the Beargrease race (1998) but the next year I was there at Two Island it was a full moon and it was snowing at the same time, could see down the trail like it was daylight but it was snowing....that was my sign...like I didn't fall in love with it before...this is a beautiful place, small camground but nice in the summer. jkf... |
