You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors amusing things the area near Waymier Lake has to offer. After a long day outdoors Super 8 Hibbing is a great place to spend a night or two, and while you're here you can take a hike along the Snake Trail. So many exciting things to do in the Mesabi Range, not enough time. Hibbing Park Hotel is a good place to get some rest, and camping at C C Campground 717 is always a great experience. This lake is so wonderful.

| | This location, the Mesabi Range, has so much outdoors enjoyable stuff. Loven Lake is a great lake next to Waymier Lake; if the weather is nice, you can go for a hike along the Link Lake Trail. In case you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Sturgeon River, and why not take a little visit to Deer Creek since you're here. Going for a hike along the Stingy Lake Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity, | |

This lake is located in the wonderful Mesabi Range. This lake is so wonderful. If you came to camp Pine Beach Resort RV Park is a splendid place to do that, and Little
Fork River has a perfect whitewater paddling spot nearby. Waymier Lake is a good site of normal rainfall; the wettest month of the year is generally June, that's the one that rains the most while February is the month with the least
amount of precipitation.
Throughout the warm months highs here at Waymier Lake reach the 70's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 10's with temperatures at Waymier Lake dipping down into the-10's during winter nights.

Pebble Lake Golf Course, a challenging 18 hole course, is 5 miles away.
There is plenty to do at the resort too. Swan Lake is known for its water clarity throughout the summer. Fishing is almost always good with a healthy supply of sunfish, crappies, northern and walleyes. Largemouth bass are definitely the most sought after fish the past few years with most of them released again after they are weighed and their picture is taken for our ''fishing report'' board. Our swimming area is safely marked off with no dangerous drop offs. We have plenty of sand for sunbathing and sandcastle building.
