Taking a little journey to nearby Diamond Point is a pleasant idea, and after a long day outdoors Trappers Landing Lodge is a great site to spend a night or two. Wawa Lake in fact is in the middle of a scenic outdoors paradise. Go for a hike on the Goose Lake Trail System, and there are plenty of people from Brainerd here at Wawa Lake. Why not camp at Pikedale Lodge since you're here at Wawa Lake, and it's a magnificent       idea to stop by Whipholt Creek. At Wawa Lake during the summer highs are in the 70's. Through the moonlight hours it's generally in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 10's while the cold winter nights at Wawa Lake are in the-10's. This lake is so wonderful. There's good hiking along the Lake Erin Trail; dry warm beds await you at Americinn - Walker, Mn. Wawa Lake is a good place of typical rain; June is the wettest month with most rain, and February                  on the other hand is the driest.
