Why not camp at Deer Acres while you're here at Wawa Lake, and don't leave Wawa Lake without first going for a hike along the North Country Trail. Dry warm beds await you at Americinn - Walker, Mn, and you can go for a hike on the Goose Lake Trail System. For the period of the summertime months at Wawa Lake highs       are regularly in the 70's; the night is a bit cooler of course, ordinarily in the 50's. During the winter this place gets highs in the 10's while Wawa Lake overnight low temperatures through the winter are in the-10's. This lake is so wonderful. This lake is so wonderful. Taking a little visit to nearby Diamond Point is a splendid idea, and some close by water includes Whipholt Creek. From a precipitation point of view Wawa Lake is a reasonably typical place;                  June is when you get the most rain here, and February is when it's the driest. Nearby lakes? Sure, Lauer Lake is close to Wawa Lake; you're probably addicted to lakes, Hagen Lake is one of those nearby. Life's too short to enjoy all the fun stuff right next door to Wawa Lake.
