This lake is so wonderful.       Rainbow Lake is a nearby lake that you could check out; there is a delightful hiking trail close by called the Wilson Lake Trail. There's just no way anybody can get bored here at Walters Lake. Near Walters Lake you hit upon the Wasson Lake Trail which is a splendid hiking trail. Walters Lake is glorious enough to spend more than a day at, Thistledew Campground is a glorious local campground, and a lake close by is Kelly Lake.
