There is a splendid hiking trail close to Walters Lake called the Valley River Trail, and if you came for an overnight stay Jko Campground is a perfect place to camp. For the duration of the warm months at Walters Lake highs are generally in the 70's; the nighttime is rather colder of course, commonly in the 50's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 10's, and overnight lows during the wintertime for Walters       Lake tend to be in the-20's. If you need a place to stay Country Inn By Carlson Grand Rapids is a wonderful choice, and Big Fork has a good whitewater paddling spot nearby. This is no place for people who don’t like to enjoy themselves. The Wasson Lake Trail is a great hiking trail close to Walters Lake. Napoleon Lake is a nearby lake that you could check out, and camping is available at Thistledew Campground. This lake is so wonderful. If the weather is good here                  at Walters Lake, you can go for a hike along the Wilson Lake Trail; a lake close by is Rat Lake.
