Stay the night at Ok Corral Campground, and needless to say Dead River is a gorgeous stream that is worth checking out. Do stop at Lake Alice in close proximity to Walker Lake, it's a beautiful lake, and an afternoon playing golf at Balmoral Golf Course is always a pleasure. All through the warm months here at Walker Lake, high temperatures mostly reach the 80's with nighttime lows in the       50's. High temperatures throughout the winter are normally in the 10's, and winter nights come with lows in the-10's to Walker Lake. A good close by hotel is Thumper Pond Resort, and you'll stumble on a delightful lake called Davies Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Walker Lake is a glorious site to visit for more than one day, Head Lake Camp is a glorious site to camp nearby; Walker Lake is not far at all from Fergus Falls. Walker Lake is generally a reasonably                  dried out place; June is the wettest month with most rain while February is frequently the driest month. This place, Walker Lake, it clearly has so much outdoors entertaining stuff.
