You could also pop by Lake Alice if you're here at Walker Lake; it's nearby, and Thumper Pond Resort is a great place to get some rest. Now, you may imagine that's a lot but there's even more exciting stuff to do here at Walker Lake. If you came for an overnight stay Ok Corral Campground is a great site to camp. This lake is so wonderful.       Playing golf is lots of fun at Balmoral Golf Course, and obviously Dead River flows through this neighborhood. Camping is available at Head Lake Camp, and dry warm beds await you at Super 8 Perham. Throughout the long summer days here at Walker Lake, high temperatures commonly get into the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 50's. For the period of the wintertime the highs are typically in the 10's while the cold winter nights at Walker                  Lake are in the-10's.
