But wait, there's more to do next to Wagner Lake. Wagner Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Middle Pigeon River Campground is a great local campground, and there is a perfect hiking trail nearby called the Lost '40' Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Welch Lake is a nearby lake that you       could check out; the Elmwood Island Trail System is a nice hiking trail nearby. From a rainfall point of view Wagner Lake is a rather typical place; all through June this area sees the most rain, and February is when it's the driest. Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Wagner Lake. During the moonlight hours it's commonly in the 50's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 10's while Wagner Lake nighttime low temperatures all through the wintertime                  are in the-10's.
