Now, you may believe that's a heap but there's even more exciting things to do here in the Mesabi Range. Virginia Lake is a location that is relatively dehydrated commonly; June is when you get the most rain here while February is       the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. Near Virginia Lake you hit upon a golf course called Eveleth Municipal Golf Course; do take a hike on the Taconite Trail. Giants Ridge is a great local ski area, and lots of folks from Duluth come here. Summer at Virginia Lake comes with high temperatures in the 70's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 50's. The winter brings highs down to                  the 10's with temperatures at Virginia Lake dipping down into the-10's through winter nights. This lake is located in the wonderful Mesabi Range. Stay the night at Midway Motel, and Virginia Lake is not the only place close by, Plant Site Settling Basin is a close by lake. If you want a great time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Virginia Lake. A delightful close by hotel is Budget Host Virginia.
