Venoah Lake is a magnificent place to visit for more than one day, Cloquet/Duluth KOA is a magnificent place to camp nearby; Americinn - Carlton, Mn is a nice site to get some rest. Dry warm beds await you at Super 8 Motel Cloquet, and Spirit Mountain has wonderful slopes and a friendly staff. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Venoah Lake. Throughout the moonlight hours it's       regularly in the 50's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 10's, and after the sun is down throughout the winter temperatures at Venoah Lake dip into the-10's. Enjoy a round of golf at Black Bear Golf Course not far from Venoah Lake, and needless to say, this is a fine neighborhood for folks who like lakes, Lac La Belle is a lake nearby. From a rainfall point of view Venoah Lake is a pretty common location; June is when you get the most rain                  here, and the driest month of the year is February. This lake is so wonderful. K O A Kampgrounds is a perfect campground nearby, and a tremendous place for whitewater paddling is St. Louis River. If you want a fine time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Venoah Lake.
