Lake of the Valley is a location that is relatively dried out frequently; June is when you get the most rain here while February is mostly the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Near Lake of the Valley you find the East Bad Medicine Trail which is a delightful hiking trail, and Bass Lake Dam is a scenic       spot. Go for a hike on the Otterkill Trail; why not camp at Tamarac Resort and Campground since you're here at Lake of the Valley. High temperatures at Lake of the Valley all through the warmest time of the year are in the 80's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's ordinarily in the 50's. All through the winter highs are in the 10's, and winter nights come with lows in the-10's to Lake of the Valley. If you want a nice time in the great outdoors, just come                  on down to Lake of the Valley. Dry warm beds await you at Cmon Inns Park Rapids.
