During the warm months highs here at Upper Whipple Lake get into the 80's. Summer overnight lows plunge down to the 50's. Throughout the winter the highs are generally in the 10's, and through the dark hours in the winter at       Upper Whipple Lake temperatures dip to the-10's. A common amount of rainfall falls here at Upper Whipple Lake; through the month of June you get the most rain around here, and February meanwhile is the driest month. Stay the night at Shady Hollow Resort and Campground, and after a long day outdoors Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites BRAINERD-BAXTER is a tremendous site to spend a night or two.
