If you want a wonderful time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Upper Pine Lake. This is a good vicinity for folks who like lakes. Elbow Lake is a lake in close proximity, and Kettle River is a tremendous whitewater spot nearby. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Upper Pine Lake; Herubin Truck Trail is a tremendous local trail, and Bremen Woods Resort and Campground is a magnificent local campground. This       lake is so wonderful. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always check out nearby Little Lake, and if you need a spot to stay Hinckley-Days Inn is a tremendous choice. The Giese Truck Trail offers hiking at its best; dry warm beds await you at Travelodge Hinckley. Upper Pine Lake is right by the East White Pine Truck Trail, and if you don't mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Snake River. The amount of rainfall                  that falls at Upper Pine Lake is close to the national average; June is the month that gets the most rain, and February on the other hand is the driest.
