Life's too short to enjoy all the exciting things near Upper Pine Lake. Going for a hike along the Herubin Truck Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity. You can run the rapids of Snake River near Upper Pine Lake, and a brilliant location to camp here at Upper Pine Lake is Waldheim Resort. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Upper Pine Lake. Once the       sun is down it sinks down to the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 10's, and during the dark hours in the wintertime at Upper Pine Lake temperatures descend to the-10's. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Upper Pine Lake you can take a hike along the Giese Truck Trail, and after a long day outdoors Travelodge Hinckley is a brilliant site to spend a night or two. On a fine day at Upper Pine Lake you can take a hike along the East                  White Pine Truck Trail, and there's whitewater on Kettle River for all you adrenaline rush seekers.
