This lake is so wonderful. Hiking along the Cutfoot Sioux National Recreation Trail is pleasant fun, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always check out close by Twomile Lake. Twomile Impoundment is right by the Simpson Creek Trail System, and not far from Twomile Impoundment you'll find Little Little Cut Foot Sioux Lake which is a scenic lake. A perfect close by hotel is Trappers Landing       Lodge, and O-NE-Gum-Me Campground is a pleasant local campground. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Turtle Mound Trail, and Twomile Impoundment is a splendid spot to visit for more than one day, Winnie Dam Campground Recreation Area is a splendid spot to camp nearby.
